Stephanie Shepherd may no longer work as Kim Kardashian's assistant but that doesn't mean she slowing down anytime soon.
The influencer has partnered with J Brand for a jean collaboration and for the launch of the pants, the California based company has released a promotional video along with a series of photos that see Stephanie modeling the jeans while topless.

'We connected on Instagram,' Stephanie told the publication. 'I've always been a fan of J Brand and always worn them, so maybe I was on their radar that way. They reached out and started the conversation.'
The brand told her that she would be the perfect person to update its little black jean because that's all she wears.
And that's why she was compelled to make versatility a priority when designing the super-skinny jean with a lace-up front detail, which she said added to give women a little extra support.
Stephanie also wanted to ensure that whatever style she created would appeal to women of many different shapes and sizes, explaining that she felt the skinny leg was the option that suited most body types.
'I didn't want to do anything too trendy,' she added, while noting that any more out-there designs are likely to go out of fashion fairly quickly, whereas: 'The simple black jean is something that you'll have forever, no matter what trend is happening.'
And there's no better person who can attest to the timelessness that is J Brand better than Stephanie who doesn't consider herself to be a fashion expert but admitted that when she first moved to LA at 19, she 'didn't have two pennies to rub together' but saved her money so she could buy a pair of J Brand jeans.

These days, however, things are slightly different in Stephanie's world.
Now, with her one million Instagram followers and various side gigs - including modeling jobs and brand collaborations - she can afford to splurge on a pair of jeans, or ten.
In fact, Stephanie admitted, she recently did a closet purge and discovered she had close to 50 pairs of of denim - a far cry from the days when she had to scrimp and save just to afford the one.
But even with her jean collection, Stephanie admitted that's been in a 'yoga-pant, Spanx-leggings phase of my life' where she prefers comfort over anything else.
'I just prefer comfort over being uncomfortable, having a camel toe, and sitting in jeans for five hours,' she told W Magazine. 'So I wanted to make these jeans really comfortable. The fabric is really soft, but it is still really structured and holds you in like a pair of tights, but it's denim.'

Hilarious: The video was filmed as a reality TV show satire, which was fitting considering who she used to work for
Making the jeans comfortable was a concern of hers because she hadn't been wearing jeans lately but when she traveled for work, her go-to was a skinny black jean because she could dress it up or down and she wanted to make that happen for shoppers.
As for what's next for Stephanie, she said that she's working on a number of projects that are currently still on the down low.
Right now, Stephanie said it's about building her own brand and working with labels that are true to her, which was part of the reason she was so excited to working with J Brand.
But who knows, the next time you see Stephanie's name on a pair of jeans it might be for her own clothing line because she admitted that she's open to any all possibilities they may arise.
'You never know. I'm definitely not closed off to anything,' she said. 'I'm trying to see where all these things will take me. I love the process and all the little details. I would definitely love to have my own line of some sort. But we'll have to see.'
